Office security

If you are hoping to improve office security, there are a number of routes that you can take to do so. Consider the following options to determine which type of office security is most feasible for you to use.

• Dog – This is probably the simplest kind of office security, but there are definitely challenges. Although a dog can scare off an intruder, there is no guarantee that he is going to do so. Likewise, if the intruder is brazen enough, it is possible that he could shoot the dog. Unless you are near the office, you will not hear the dog barking. This means that if the dog does not scare the intruder away, there are no more levels of security left.

• Security guard – A security guard can do a little more than a dog, especially thanks to the fact that he can use his hand radio or phone to call for help. One of the disadvantages, however, to having an office security guard is the fact that they do not come cheap. Even if you are only paying the guards a little more than minimum wage, after a while, this certainly adds up. There are less expensive options.

• Alarm – An alarm would be one of the less expensive options. The alarm can cover the full office and be set up to be monitored by a professional monitoring company that would be called in each time when the alarm sounds.
Even though each of these things can help in allowing you to have better office security, if you consider price as well as functionality, you are probably best off using an alarm.
